Aquus Energy, Inc. Acquires Two Solar Energy System Integrators
Acquires Mercury Solar Systems, LLC and Mercury Solar, LLC.
Acquires Energy Enterprises, Inc.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY – August 11, 2008 -- Aquus Energy, Inc. a provider of solar energy systems to commercial and residential customers in the Mid Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the U.S., announced the acquisitions of Mercury Solar Systems, LLC and Mercury Solar, LLC (together “Mercury Solar Systems”) based in New Rochelle, NY and Energy Enterprises, Inc. (“Energy Enterprises”) based in Mays Landing, NJ.
Francis J Alfano, Chief Executive Officer of Aquus Energy said, “Our strategy is to become the leading commercial and residential integrator of solar energy systems through both internal growth and acquisitions.” Alfano continued “Mercury Solar Systems and Energy Enterprises are leaders in their respective markets and provide us with a solid platform on which to build Aquus Energy. We intend to find and acquire similar companies and to grow organically as we build Aquus Energy into the solar energy system integrator of choice for commercial and residential customers.”
Mercury Solar Systems designs, installs and maintains solar energy and related renewable energy systems for commercial and residential customers in New York and Connecticut. Mercury is a Premiere SunPower solar energy systems integrator and also installs solar modules manufactured by Schuco, Sharp, Sanyo, Evergreen and UniSolar. Mercury Solar Systems was founded by J. Jared Haines and Anthony Coschigano, III. Both of who have assumed executive roles with Aquus Energy.

Both Daniel and Tonya will be responsible for growing Aquus Energy’s Southern New Jersey business.
