Responsibilities include a wide range of activities to support the marketing department including:
- Manage development and inventory of all collateral materials
- Compose and distribute company newsletters and email marketing
- Oversee participation at trade shows, seminars and events
- Help analyze and improve SEM efforts
- Create and update case histories, and other “assets” for company website and sales support
- Help maintain marketing budget
- Research and execute local media campaign (outdoor, print, direct mail, radio)
- Measure and report ROI analysis for marketing campaigns
- Maintain and manage all promotional apparel
- Manage vendor co-op programs
- Spearhead social media and other digital initiatives
Requirements:
- The ideal candidates will have 2-3 years relevant experience.
- Must be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills. Copywriting experience a plus.
- Effective time management skills required with the ability to organize and prioritize efficiently and handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. Experience with CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) required. Web research and internet savvy.
- Some experience with template based e-mail marketing.
- Some knowledge of the technical elements of search engine optimization and search engine marketing.
- Some knowledge of media placement and buying.
- Web 2.0 knowledge preferred; should be an active social networking site user.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced working environment.
